Unusual Tax Punishment

This is a new one… a soccer team in Italy has been docked a point in the standings for failing to file their taxes on time…

Siena have been deducted a point in Serie A for failing to pay their tax bills on time.
The Tuscany-based club missed the payment deadline and have now been docked a point.
Siena president Paolo De Luca told http://www.gazzetta.it: “It’s a staggering punishment.
“We will appeal even if this verdict is very demoralising.”
Serie B club Pescara has been hit with a similar punishment
